What if I only find an abstract and would like to read the full article?

1. Check the details in the abstract of the article to find out when and in which journal the article has been published. Use Arcada Finna to see if the journal/article is available at the Arcada library. NB: Use the name of the journal as your search phrase. If you did not find the journal this way continue to step 2:

2. If you couldn't find the journal at Arcada you can see if it is available at any other university library (for instance the Helsinki University Library, the Diak library, the Hanken library etc).

Open Arcada Finna. Choose the link About Finna > What is Finna?. Choose a university library catalogue of your choice. Use the name of the journal as your search phrase. Limit your search to the format: journal. If the journal is found you can visit that university library and read the journal on site.

It is designed to help students and researchers easily gather, manage, store and share all types of information, as well as generate citations and bibliographies. In order to use RefWorks you have to sign up for an individual account with your Arcada e-mail.

There are other options for reference management available as well, such as Mendeley or Zotero. We recommend that you choose the tools most suitable to your personal preferences.
